CARMEL - Roger Walter Donnell, 75, died June 29, 2022 at a Bangor hospital following a long illness. He was born April 6, 1947 in Damariscotta, a son of Walter and Ruey (Hallowell) Donnell. He graduated from Waldoboro High School and drove for a dairy. He was a member of Benevolent Lodge, Masons of Carmel.

Roger is survived by 3 sons, Anthony and wife Basma of Alabama, Paul and wife Nana of Georgia, David and wife Tassia of South Carolina; a half sister, Lois Vannah of Nobleboro; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; special nephew Larry Lane and wife Myra of Nobleboro; and friends Kenneth and wife Gladys Swett, Don and Brenda Candage, all of Carmel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, July 7th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with the Rev. David Gardiner officiating. Friends may call from 1 P.M. until the time of services. There will also be a Masonic service. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Carmel.
