NEWPORT - Roger Provost, 57, formerly of Plympton, MA, died at work March 24, 2021 in Pittsfield. He was born December 20, 1963 in Brockton, MA, a son of Elmer and Ann (Prossin) Provost. Roger worked at Walpole in Pittsfield and will be remembered as an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and walking. He also loved his beer. He is survived by his mother of Newport; 4 brothers, Hilston Ireland of Brockton, MA, David Ireland of Florida, John Provost of Brockton, MA, and Kevin Provost of Carmel; a sister, Kathleen Picard of Ayer, MA; several nieces and nephews and his pal, Scooter the dog. Roger was predeceased by his father Elmer; 2 brothers, James and Michael; a sister, Deborah Ireland and nephew Harold Ireland. There will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
