Roger Alan Whitney "Been there done that" CORINNA - Roger A. Whitney, 81, died September 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1942 in Newport, a son of George and Rae (McKenney) Whitney. He graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1960, and the University of Maine, Class of 1964. Roger was a potato farmer in the Corinna area for many years. He was a member of Parian Lodge #160, Masons of Corinna, and the Anah Shrine in Bangor. He is survived by 2 sons, Scott and wife Tina of Glenburn, and Roger Aaron and wife Sherry of Corinna; a daughter, Laura and husband Richard Russell of Augusta; 18 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Bruce and a sister Jacqueline Berry. Private arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
