CORINNA - Roscoe Victor Wade, Jr., 83, died December 26, 2020 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born October 28, 1937 in Brookline, MA, a son of Roscoe Victor Wade, Sr. and Bridget (Tonra) Wade. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Victor attended Catholic schools in the Boston area, graduating from Boston College and Suffolk Law School with a degree in law. After passing his bar exam he worked in the district attorney's office. He later worked in the law office of Mike Latti. After moving to Maine with his wife, he worked for the State of Maine as an enforcement agent.
He was a member of the Poulliot-Seavey Post , American Legion in Dexter. He was also a communicant of Our Lady of Snows Parish, attending St. Agnes Church in Pittsfield.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Buteau) Wade of Corinna; a daughter, Amy Wade of Yarmouth; and a sister, Margaret Graham of Cummings, GA.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday, December 31st, 2020, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Anne's Church, Free Street, Dexter with the Rev. Rob Lupo officiating.
Spring burial will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P. O. Box 3415, Augusta, ME 04330.
