NEWPORT - It is with deep sadness that the family of Scott A. Boyington announces his sudden passing on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the age of 55. Scott was born in Lincoln and raised in Springfield. He went to Lee Academy and EMBTI for refrigeration. He worked at Paris Farmers Union in Newport for many years. He was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved his family and was immensely proud of all his children and grandchildren. He was a master of all trades and was a Past Master of Benevolent Lodge AF & AM in Carmel. Scott will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 8 years, Nina. They were just shy of their 9 year wedding anniversary and had been together for 18 years. He will also be sadly missed by his parents, Barbara and step father Allen McDunnah; children, Brittany, Rose, Justina, Kassandra and partner Damien, Sunnie, Amber and husband Corey, Heather and husband Jerry; his brother David and wife Stephanie; and long time special friend River; 16 grandchildren Hayden, Lily, Jaxxon, Zachary, Oakley, Kailynn, Santannah, Kylee, Nicholas, Aidan, Allannah, Ashton, Sydney, Aaliyah, Alyssa and Kameron. He was predeceased by his brother Ryan Boyington, his grandmother Rosalie Moores and grandfather Dwight Moores. Due to the current pandemic there will be no service at this time.
