DEXTER - Scott Raymond Clukey, 41, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 8, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born July 3, 1978 in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Raymond and Diane (Jewett) Clukey. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1997.
Scott worked for the Dexter Motor Lodge while in school, for Matt Scott Appliance, Dexter Shoe Company, and currently was working for Bilodeau Drywall. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for dirt biking, snowmobiling, riding his Harley and camping with his family. He also enjoyed working on appliances and just about anything that had a motor. A kid at heart, you never knew what he would be racing or popping a wheelie on. He was a devoted father to two beautiful daughters who were the most important part of his life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Sarah and husband Mark Cooper, and special nephew Bryce Cooper, all of Dexter; 2 daughters Blair Clukey and Harlie Hastings; grandmother Rita Clukey of Dexter; aunts and uncles Jay and Gail Jewett of Dexter, Kathy and Alan Tibbetts of Sidney and Bobby Clukey of Dexter; cousins Lucas Jewett and fiance Kate of Dexter, Heidi and husband Tyler Mclellan, and Brian Tibbetts of Sidney.
He was predeceased by his first born son, Griffin Scott Clukey, grandparents Anita and John Jewett, Sr., grandfather Nelson Clukey and Uncle Kenny Clukey.
He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and his special close friends Joe, Mikey, Gene and Ryan, his extended work family and his four legged companion Maddy Girl.
The family extends a special thank you to the Dexter Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance crew.
A graveside funeral and committal service will be held at Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
