DEXTER- Sheryl Georgi Anne Vigue, 67, passed away at Northern Light Mayo Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2023, with family by her side. Sheryl was born July 15, 1955 in Dexter, a daughter of Graydon and Jane (Bennett) Gilbert. She attended local schools. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in culinary arts in Bangor.

Sheryl worked for many years at Dexter Shoe. She was an excellent painter; her favorite was painting beautiful landscapes. She loved being outdoors hunting or fishing. Growing up, if her parents wouldn't let her do something, she would call her uncles Sunny and Barry, and they would always take her wherever she wanted to go. Sheryl enjoyed cooking, sewing, and doing things the old way like her gram and gramps. She loved spending time with her mom and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her mother, Jane. She is survived by her father Graydon; her children Donny, Michael, and Cassie; sisters, Holly, Ivy, and Stacy; and her two grandchildren Bob and Lilly.

Spring graveside services will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
