ETNA & DIXMONT - Shirley Towne Pushor, 87, died April 6, 2020 at a Conroe, Texas health care facility. She was born March 21, 1933 in Bucksport, a daughter of Clifford and Beryl (Harriman) Dickinson. She graduated from Bucksport High School. She was a homemaker spending a lot of time with grandchildren taking care of them. She was a longtime resident of Zephyrhills, Florida, before moving to Conroe, Texas to be near her son Tim.
She is survived by 2 sons, Peter of Exeter, Timothy and wife Ursula of Hartland and Conroe, Texas; a daughter, Ruth and husband Jack Davis of Navarre, Florida; a brother, Donald Crosby of Bangor; a sister, Ruth Crosby of Carmel; 7 grandchildren, Angela, Estelle, Mark, Kristen, Kim, Amy and Amanda; 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her companion of 20+ years, Robert Moran.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband David Pushor, son Merton Bruce Pushor; and 2 grandsons, Thomas Paul, Jr. and David Paul.
Due to the pandemic, graveside funeral and committal services will be postponed until later in the spring. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Etna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers' Association, 383 U. S. Route 1, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
