CORINNA & PITTSFIELD - Stephen Ward, Sr., 72, died December 3, 2020 at his Pittsfield residence. He was born August 4, 1948 in Dover-Foxcroft, a son of Marcellus and Mildred (Woodard) Ward, Sr. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a logging contractor for many years. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. Steve loved his family.

He is survived by 2 sons, Stephen Ward, Jr. and Shayne Ward, both of Corinna; 3 daughters, Lisa Rassaw of CT, Margaret Bennett of St. Albans, and Tammy Buttke of Newport; a half-brother, Bill Ward, Sr. of NY; 2 sisters, Barbara Meservey of Plymouth, and Sylvia Judkins of Milo; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his wife Peggy.

A family committal service will be held at Pingree Center Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
