NEWPORT - Steve Lawn, 69, died January 21, 2019 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born December 28, 1949 in Boston, a son of Francis and Frances (Ceurvels) Lawn. He was a retired teamster. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and sports, especially the Patriots. He enjoyed and owned several classic and antique cars and belonged to a car enthusiast club.

He is survived by his wife Karen (Lundin) of Newport; 2 sons, Michael and wife Jill Lawn of Hanson, MA, and James Lawn of Middleboro, MA; 3 daughters, Erika and husband Brian Steen of Weymouth, MA, Michelle Lawn of Rockland, MA, and Diane Lawn of Haverhill, MA; a sister, Ann and husband John Waluk of Pittsfield; 8 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Leaman and Denise Temple, Richelle and Robert Lawn.

Steve was predeceased by brothers, Francis, Russell and Edward Lawn.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 P.M. Thursday, January 24th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Newport, at a later date.
