Obituary

SAINT ALBANS- Steven C. Logue, 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Saint Albans on November 25th, 2024, with his wife of 34 years lovingly at his side. Steve was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 20th, 1954, to Mary Jo (Gann) and Granville Cobb. Steve was later adopted by his stepfather Ernest W. Logue at the age of 10. In 1990, Steve and Sherry Ann Widden married in Stockbridge, Georgia. They shared the love of camping, fishing, shooting, scuba diving, hunting, four wheeling and snowmobiling, but most of all, they shared a deep love for each other. Within a few years after graduating high school in 1973, Steve became a law enforcement officer. He remained in the Atlanta area working for the Fulton County Sheriff's Department as a deputy and then became their Firearms Instructor and Armorer. He also worked for the Fulton County Marshal's Department before he and Sherry moved to Madison, Georgia in 1996 where he worked as a code enforcement officer, enforcing Morgan County's Environmental Codes and Regulations. In 2000, Steve and Sherry moved to Saint Albans, Maine where Steve worked as a sales associate. Steve was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Richard Cobb (2023). He is survived by his wife Sherry, his sister Gina Garneau of Florida, his sister-in-law Linda Cobb of Florida, his beloved aunt Betty Booth of Alabama, his Stepson Andrew M. Rush and his wife Wendy of Indiana, his daughter Joy Logue Wright and husband Sean of Arizona, his son Steven Logue and his wife Shannon of North Carolina, and his cousin Scott Booth of Alabama, as well as his grandchildren and cousins. A service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church, in Exeter, Maine on December 14th at 10:00am. For those who wish to leave written condolences may do so at crosbyneal.com
