DEXTER – Stoney Waverly Cote, 56, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. Stoney was born to Valentino and Amy Cote in Lincoln, Maine on June 19th, 1968. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pamela Cote, two sons, Dakota “Kota” Cote and Brandon Curtis and his wife, Krickett, three grandchildren, Nate, Sophia, and Anna, and his daughter, Stephanie. Two sisters, Lorraine and Tina, and his brother, Rocky. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, April, Brandy, Stephen, Richard, Ryan, Christina, Thomas, Ashley, Tatum, and Dylan. Stoney had the best smile, He enjoyed outdoor life. He loved the woods and some of his favorite enjoyments were hunting, fishing, camping, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was the best fiddlehead picker you would have ever met. Until we meet on the other side, we must accept that you beat us there. A celebration of Stoney’s life will be held Saturday, October 12th, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, ME 04953.
