SHIRLEY- Suzanne Claire (Larson) Ponkala, 64, passed away February 13, 2013 with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 22, 1949, in Greenville, a daughter of John L. and Caroline (Diehl) Larson.

Suzanne's favorite past time was spending time with her family. They enjoyed many Disney vacations in Florida and the annual camping trip to the Lobster Festival in Rockland. She is survived by her husband, John of Shirley; three daughters, Erica Bary and husband, Frank of Pittsfield, Heather Holmes and husband, Nathan of Hudson, and Laura Witherly and husband, Jason of Glenburn; one grandson, John Thomas; a sister, Linda Carpenter and husband, Wayne of Greenville; and a brother, John Larson and wife, Judy of Winslow; as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Caroline.

Friends and family may visit from 6 to 8 PM Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Greenville Chapel of Crosby & Neal, located at the Masonic building on Pritham Avenue, where a celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 19th, with Pastor Marilyn Rohdin officiating.
