DEXTER - Thomas Oliver Goldsmith, 79, died December 24, 2019 at a Dexter healthcare facility. He was born October 2, 1940 in Pawtucket, R.I., a son of George and Jane (Laptew) Goldsmith.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Julia Keyte of Dexter; a sister Nancy Schneider of NY; 2 sons, William Goldsmith of FL, and Thomas Goldsmith of VT; as well as 2 step children, Helen Murray and Robert Banville. He also leaves behind many friends, and a special friend Debi Glenn.

There will be no services. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
