ETNA-Thomas Richard Madore, 68, an ambitious and compassionate man, passed away on June 5, 2023. Born in Hartland on July 18, 1954, Thomas led a life filled with love, support, and dedication to his family and friends. His zest for life and passion for the outdoors created countless memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Thomas dedicated much of his life to providing for his family and ensuring their happiness. He served in the U. S. Navy and was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina before returning to Maine and pursuing a career in security at Hollywood Slots Casino. After retiring, Thomas found joy in gardening, cutting wood, and spending time outside, but what truly mattered most to him was taking care of his family. His loving and supportive nature will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Madore, mother Francis Madore, and brother Kenneth Madore. Thomas is survived by his spouse, Nancy Madore; son CMSgt Chad Madore and daughter-in-law Josie Madore; daughter Tara Daley and son-in-law Ryan Daley; grandchildren Kaison Plante, Winter Daley, Michael Madore, and Matthew Madore; sister Cheryl Hanson and brother-in-law Danny Hanson; and many nieces and nephews. Thomas will always be remembered as a deeply loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
