Obituary

SANGERVILLE - Timothy "Tim" Paul Burt, 63, died May 11, 2014 at the Mayo Regional Hospital. He was born on March 9, 1951, the son of the late Howard O. and Shirley R. (LaBounty) Burt Jr. of Rindge, NH. Tim graduated from Conant High School in 1969.

Over the past 20 years, Tim worked as a sheetrock contractor both for himself and for the Zimba Company of Fairfield. To his friends and family in the state of Maine, he is most well-known for his love of music and the song "Champagne of Maine" which he composed and played with the Pig Muffin Band.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mrs. Donna Burt, and their son, daughter-in-law, and grandson; Isaac, Laurel & Marshall Burt; and his four siblings; Allyson, Gary, Randy & Shelley; and his long time childhood friend and fellow musician Dennis Manoni and his wife Jackie; and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

At his request there will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in his memory, to the charity of their choice.

Tim will be missed greatly but remembered fondly by family & friends for his musical passion & talent, individuality and fun spirit.

Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
