DEXTER - Vella Price, 94, died February 2, 2019 at her daughter's residence in Turner. She was born October 5, 1924 in Dexter, a daughter of Shirley and Mabel (Jewett) Bugbee. She graduated from N. H. Fay High School, Class of 1943, and the Fisher Business School in Boston. She worked many years as a secretary at the Amos Abbott Woolen Mill and later for the Dexter school system as a librarian.

Vella is survived by a daughter, Marcia Augello and husband Cosmo of Turner; a son, William Price and wife Nancy of Dexter; a sister, Mary Linz and husband William of Bangor; 6 grandchildren, Terry, Christiane, Jennifer, Christopher, Brian and Charles. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey, Jr. and 2 brothers, Wallace and Milton Bugbee.

At her request there will be no services. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
