Vera I. Stevenson NEWPORT – Vera Stevenson, 91, died August 28, 2023 at a Hartland healthcare facility. She was born August 18, 1932 in Dixmont, a daughter of Leroy and Ivy (Simpson) Stevenson. She graduated from Morse Memorial High School in Brooks. She was employed as a supervisor at area shoe shops. She was the last of ten children: Kenneth, Dana, Johnnie, Arline Harris, Mabel Hunt, Nellie Cleveland, Myra Harris, Beulah Ludden and Olive Palmer. She had many good friends at Pine View. The family wishes to thank the staff at Sanfield. A committal will be scheduled at Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth, at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
