EXETER - Virginia Dorman, 93, died December 12, 2020 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born May 26, 1927 in Masardis, a daughter of John and Margaret (Bubar) Rockwell. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy and the Eastern Academy Beauty Culture. Ginny was a beautician for 35 years. She also worked as the Town of Exeter Deputy Town Clerk for 16 years. She attended the Corinna United Methodist Church; a Past Matron of Corinne Chapter O.E.S. in Corinna, and a Past President and member of the Corinna Post American Legion. At the time of her death, she was the holder of the Town of Exeter Boston Post Cane.
She is survived by 5 sons, John and wife Linda of Exeter, Roland and wife Betsy, Gary and wife Cynthia, Jeffry and wife Patty, all of Corinna, Brent and wife Priscilla of Stetson; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; her extended family, Doris Young and family.
Ginny was predeceased by her husband Roland G. Dorman, and her sister Tressa Hartford.
Spring graveside committal services will be held at the Exeter Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, c/o the Anah Shrine, P. O. Box 735, Bangor, ME 04402. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal.
