MILO - Walter Harry Cookson, Sr., 84, died March 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Milo, May 8, 1937, a son of Bert and Etta (Sturtevant) Cookson. Walter graduated from Milo High School and worked for Webber Energy in Dover-Foxcroft. He is survived by his son, Walter H. Cookson, Jr. of Sangerville; 2 step daughters, Teresa and husband Daniel Jay of Milo and Debra Smith of Caledonia, MS; 2 step sons, Ronald Hafford of Milo and Lawrence Hafford, also of Caledonia, MS; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. At his request there are no services. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
