Obituary

Walter Dickison, 77, died August 27, 2018 at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 6, 1941 in Guilford, a son of William and Thalma (Stewart) Dickison. He graduated from Monson Academy and received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Husson College. He served in the U. S. Army. Walter was a self-employed accountant and owned a franchise, Padgett Business Services. He was a member of Gideon's International and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Yorkana, PA. He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Bridges) Dickison; sons, W. Andrew Dickison, Allen and spouse Shana Dickison; daughters, Cynthia and spouse Timothy Mangan, Linda Dickison, Jennifer and spouse Christopher Stathes; brother Douglas Dickison; sisters Irene Lord, Bernadine and husband Jeff Robertson; a brother William and wife Sue Ward; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Gary Ward. Graveside committal services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, August 31st at Pingree Center Cemetery, Parkman, with the Rev. Dr. Richard Davis officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon's International, York East Camp, P.O. Box 561, Red Lion,PA 17356.
