LEVANT - Wanda Parker, 61, died unexpectedly November 4, 2021 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1960 in Portland, a daughter of Winfred and Lorraine (Lee) Parker. She graduated from high school and worked as a department store clerk. Wanda was a member of the Downeast Country Music Association and was invited to sing at the Grand Ole Opry. She enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her family. She is survived by a son, John of Bangor; 2 daughters, Billiejo of Levant and Heather of Brewer; 3 brothers, Wyatt of Levant, William of Lewiston and Wayne of Monmouth; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, November 19th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, will be postponed to a future date. Burial will be in the spring.
