GARLAND - William "Bill" Mower, passed away at his home in Garland on February 10, 2023. William was born July 27,1961 in Exeter, NH, to Carroll Fletcher Mower and Ruth Mary (Adair) Mower. William graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1979. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was able to travel to various countries. Bill enjoyed spending time with his large family and many close friends. He loved to travel and meet new people. He was predeceased by his parents; brother in law Larry Cook, and beloved Great Dane Blaze. He leaves behind 3 children, Whitney Mower, William Mower, Jr., and Nathan Mower; siblings Carol Cook of New Brunswick, Mary and husband Kevin Rolfe of Garland, Richard Mower of New Hampshire, Kenneth Mower, Sr. of Dexter, David Mower of Dexter, Phillip and wife Dawn Mower and Michael and wife Laurie Mower all of Ripley. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews of which he was very close: Kelly, Jamie, Laurie, Jennifer, Jason, Tyler, Chelsea, Ruthie, Kenneth, Jr., Kirstie, Danielle, Matt, Megan, Hillary, Slade, Justice, and their significant others; and many dear friends. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 P.M. on Thursday February 16th at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home 117 Main Street, Newport, followed by a celebration of life at the V.F.W. Hall in Dexter. Interment will be held in the spring.
