DEXTER & NEWPORT - Yvonne Hartford, 96, passed away October 22, 2021 in Corinth. She was born November 18, 1924 in Dover-Foxcroft, a daughter of Crosby and Leona (Deag) Knowles. She married Laurence Hartford on January 16, 1943 and they lived most of their married life on the farm in Dexter. Yvonne was a wonderful homemaker and mother to her 3 children, as well as helping on the farm. She is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Frautten and Diana Warren; her son and wife Dana and Colleen Hartford; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Reginald and Ronald Knowles; a sister in law, Gladys Knowles; brother in law, John Day; many nieces, nephews and friends. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, a granddaughter, a great granddaughter and several siblings. Her family wishes to thank special caregivers Cheryl and Leola, and also the caring staff at Emilio Estates for the wonderful care she received. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
